Akasaka to Roppongi: walk, subway or taxi

Akasaka Station and Roppongi Station are only about 1.5 km apart, but no single subway line connects them. Walking is often the simplest choice.

Choose for your trip

Walk

About 1.5 km, roughly 20 minutes, through Akasaka and past Tokyo Midtown and Hinokicho Park. There are some slopes.

Subway with a transfer

Chiyoda Line Akasaka → Nogizaka is 1 stop; from Nogizaka it is about a 10-minute walk to Roppongi. A Hibiya or Oedo Line ride needs a longer transfer and rarely saves time.

Taxi

A short ride; useful at night or in rain.
