What this area is like
Kurume is said to be the birthplace of pork-bone ramen. Harazuru Onsen sits on the Chikugo River, where cormorant fishing runs in summer, and Asakura has working three-wheel waterwheels. Ukiha has old white-walled streets and fruit picking.
