What this area is like
Mount Hakusan is one of Japan’s three holy mountains, and Shirayama Hime Shrine is its head shrine. The Hakusan Shirakawa-go White Road crosses to Shirakawa-go past waterfalls and autumn colours, and the Tedori River valley is a Global Geopark.
