What this area is like
Gujo Hachiman is a castle town of clear canals, where the Gujo Odori dance goes on all night in mid-August and you can try making plastic food samples. Mino has paper-making and old streets with raised udatsu walls, and Seki is a sword town with forging demonstrations.
