What this area is like
Mount Oyama in Isehara was a pilgrimage mountain in the Edo period; a cable car climbs to Afuri Shrine, and the approach is lined with tofu restaurants. Lake Miyagase sits below the Tanzawa mountains, and Ebina is a busy rail hub with a famous highway rest area.
