A simple way to visit

  1. Check the visitor-center closure information and map.
  2. Choose a short out-and-back within your walking ability.
  3. Return before fatigue, darkness or your train connection.

Make the most of your visit

Expect steps, slopes and uneven or wet surfaces. Stay on open paths and do not enter the river or closed sections.

Rainy-day planning

After heavy rain or when paths are slippery, skip the gorge walk. Use station-side plans or a town visit instead.
