What this area is like
Yahiko Shrine sits at the foot of Mount Yahiko, with a ropeway to the summit. Tsubame and Sanjo are famous for cutlery and tools, with workshops open to visitors and a factory festival in autumn, and Iwamuro Onsen is a small hot-spring town.
