What this area is like
Hagi is a castle town of samurai houses and earthen walls, part of a World Heritage site, and famous for Hagi ware pottery. In Nagato, Motonosumi Shrine has red torii gates running down to the sea, and Nagato-Yumoto is a riverside hot-spring town.
